Journey Timeline

Application

Express your interest and submit your application to join our Sound & Media Ministry team.

Probationary Period

Three-month probation: attend practice sessions, learn equipment operation, and integrate with the team. Uniforms are acquired during this period.

Training & Development

Learn sound board operation, live streaming, camera work, and other technical skills under experienced mentorship.

Active Ministry

Begin active service after successful completion of probation, subject to leadership approval and ongoing evaluation.

Guidelines & Principles

Technical Proficiency

  • Understand operation of audio/visual equipment (mixers, mics, speakers, projectors, media software)
  • Regular training and skill development sessions
  • Stay updated with emerging technology trends
  • Ensure proper levels, balance, and clarity in all productions
  • Anticipate and address technical issues proactively

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with worship leaders and other ministry teams
  • Maintain open, effective communication for cues and transitions
  • Attend rehearsals to understand service flow and technical needs
  • Arrive early to prepare equipment and set up properly

Servant Heart & Attitude

  • Serve with humility, flexibility, and willingness to adapt
  • Handle equipment with care and follow proper procedures
  • Maintain professionalism in appearance and conduct
  • Seek feedback for continuous improvement

Prayer & Spirituality

  • Prioritize prayer and personal spiritual growth
  • Create an atmosphere conducive to encountering God
  • Participate in daily devotions and weekly fasting/prayer
  • Maintain reverence and minimize distractions during worship

  • Dress modestly and professionally as representatives of Christ
  • Maintain punctuality - lateness may result in probation
  • Report romantic relationships among ministers to leadership
